Artists Christophe Berdaguer and Marie Péjus revamped the facade of a building in Delme, a village found in North-Eastern France.  Entitled Gue(ho)st Residence , the new composition ( element of a assets belonging to the Centre d'art Contemporain-La Synagogue de Delme) serves as a gallery, studio and party room. The uncommon name of the futuristic undertaking was encouraged by artist Marcel Duchamp's wordplay venture : A Visitor + A Host = A Ghost and pays tribute to the prior functions of the building - jail, college and funeral residence.

The two designers revamped the present framework by using thick white layers of polystyrene, resulting in first outside partitions, with seemingly liquid attributes. With the goal of making “a veritable architectural phantasmagoria”, the artists envisioned a project  in tune with modern tendencies, but exuding a robust character. Unique and shocking no matter what the standpoint, the new studio/exhibition room will probably soon grow to be an appealing exhibit itself for visitors throughout France. How would you remark on its architecture?
