A stencil some material scraps = A magic pillow

Remember that stencil I received and utilised to generate a piece of art operate for my office environment,

properly I have been itching to have a go at stenciling some fabric at any time due to the fact.

When I tore the disgusting drapes down from your windows when we first moved in, I experienced ideas for offering them. But there have been no takers ( shock shock !) so I salvaged all the lining and tossed the 1980's curtains.
Now this stash of white material has been fairly beneficial. I have presently utilised it to make some Term Art pillows and it was the excellent material to have a participate in all around with my stencil.

I gave the fabric a good iron and taped in onto a significant wooden board ( a piece of crappy outdated basement paneling) Stenciling onto material was a whole lot less difficult that functioning on paper as I endured no edge bleed.

I worked with just a simple coloration - just a normal acrylic craft paint. The moment the paint was dry I gave the material a different fantastic iron to deal with the paint. To be trustworthy I do not know for certain how effectively this will stand the examination of time but what I do know is if I ever before get any acrylic art paint on my garments it Never ever washes out.

I cut out two 19 " squares and rapidly ran up a pillow address on my sewing device.

Pillow magic and as Mr Chicago House claimed, diamonds are without end, I believe he liked it!
